Greetings, fellow trash theorists,
Please join us tomorrow, Sunday, August 18th, 1:00-3:00pm EST, for the third Trash Community gathering.
This meeting will be facilitated by Shaun Bartone of Engaged Dharma. We will be discussing Shaun’s two-part essay “Ditching the Raft.” (Part 1, Part 2)
We will now be using the Zoom platform for meetings. This allows for an unlimited number of participants, so we encourage anyone with even the slightest bit of interest to join! The meeting will be accessible through the following link, which should be available on all computer operating systems, as well as iOS and Android: https://psu.zoom.us/j/880643702
Alternatively, you may dial in by phone using the following number: +1 646 876 9923

It’s very easy to access. We hope to see you there!
Regarding the session, Shaun writes:
Hello everyone: I’m submitting two pieces for our next discussion, ‘Ditching the Raft’ You can read any amount you’re comfortable with. The idea is not to critique the pieces, although you can certainly do that, but to focus on ‘ditching the raft’ as a process. What aspects of Buddhism (some or all of it) do you feel like you need to throw overboard? do you need to replace that with something else? if so, with what?
Also, please consider joining our Trash Community Board.
